Cool!
We are in the midst of a heatwave which hopefully may end tonight but when I took this pic that fountain certainly looked inviting! I have shown this fountain at 44 Walmer Rd from different angles before - click on the Uno Prii label to see the pics and also some of the other unique buildings by this architect. I see that dogs aren't allowed anywhere near the fountain.
Gorgeous architecture, so very retro and yet so very appropriate
ReplyDeleteI went back and looked at all the other shots and I have to say that I love this guy's work. I love the look of each of the buildings you've featured.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place. Those apartments must be very nice...all that glass and curved porches! Wow! And then the fountain to add a splash of fun!
ReplyDeletevery cool!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be sitting there with my feet dangling in the water
ReplyDeleteThe fountain looks very tempting! I hope the heat wave ends tonight, that's for sure.
ReplyDeletelike this modern image Pat :))
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
A kiss
Thanks for the link. Uno Prii had quite an architectural impact on Toronto. It is not my favorite style, but he was very good at it.
ReplyDeleteA very refreshing image, particularly with the hot weather!
ReplyDeleteI love that fountain. It makes me think if the future ala 'The Jetson's'.
ReplyDeleteVery tempting indeed in this weather!
ReplyDeleteVery 60's or 70's looking. Love it.
ReplyDeleteWith the heat we have been having I'm surprised there's no kids cooling off in the fountain.
ReplyDeleteA very cool structure indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhat! No dogs..that fountain would make the best 'drinking bowl' in that hot weather :)
