I showed you the large Guinness clock on the side of P.J. O'Brien Irish Pub last week and thought I'd show you the front today. It would be hard to miss those vibrant colours even in the dark! I've never been in but have heard lots about it so will have to head down for a pint soon. It is located in the St Lawrence Market neighbourhhod and is right across from the mural that I showed on Monday.

This one is so great! Love that yellow!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, that is a very bright paint job but, I have to say I like the color combination.
ReplyDeletealways nice to see the Swedish colors.
ReplyDeleteHas this been recently repainted? I don't recall those bright colors and I can't imagine missing something like this! :)
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't even have to know the name of the place! Just say "meet me at the bright yellow and blue pub"!

ReplyDeleteI laughed. Aren't those Swedish colors on an Irish pub. Whatever happened to green?
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to miss like this, though.
Can't miss that - but an odd choice of colours, as others have commented.
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely not mellow. But I love it.
ReplyDeleteFrom the thumbnail I knew this would be a pub and an Irish one! I didn't click about the Guinness mural until I read your caption though. Love it!

ReplyDeleteAfterthought: I daresay that even if you are a bit the worse for wear, you won't be able to miss it for the last pint!
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Looking at the place is like being attack by colour. It's so brilliant.
ReplyDeleteEye catching for sure, enjoy the Guinness when you visit ;)
ReplyDeleteA splash of colour in a grey world is a bonus. Eye catching, then pubs always catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteThe building screams "Notice me"...Certainly a sunny addition to the streetscape.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but this just hurts the eyes. I think I'd need a drink, inside.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely stands out! If they wanted to get noticed, I'd say they accomplished it.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty special. I love the boldness!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Fortunately the yellow is offset by the blue.
ReplyDeleteColorful place.
ReplyDeleteThose colours sure stand out.
ReplyDeleteYep, the colours DO stand out!
ReplyDeleteGreat shoot! I love how yellow and blue look good together!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny and happy building;)
