This pic shows the side of the house/stable at Spadina House which was visible in the background in yesterday's post. I loved the starkness of the wooden wall behind that great fence and the line of tulips. Taking part in Good Fences. Click here to see more fences.
The theme for City Daily Photo bloggers on June 1 is "Zest."
You have a wonderful eye for composition Pat. Love the arched window and the two 'eyes' peeping over the fence and the tulips, they're the icing in the cake, nice work!
The whole scene is lovely.. I wish I could grow tulips and not have the critter run off with the bulbs.. Beautiful fence shot. Have a happy weekend ahead!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like it's out in the country, even though that is impossible.
What a beautiful shot!

ReplyDeleteI like the composition, with the building looming over the fence!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to say itwas a church but it does look a nice place even with a door on top
ReplyDeleteThere is something quite "colonial" about the look of that fence and the tulips against it.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the tulips!
ReplyDeleteThis looks rather like the countryside!
ReplyDeleteLove the Tulips against the fence.
ReplyDeleteWhite fences have become the fence de jour around here. They're not wood, though, but a plastic kinda material which looks good and doesn't rot.
ReplyDeleteNice composition here. Those tulips are a nice touch, but don't quite come up to the glory of the ones blooming up in Ottawa. :)
This is what I love ....what is alongside a fence can be the most interesting....
ReplyDeleteOh yes those tulips up against the fence do make for a great photo. Also interesting building in the background.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely photo and place...
