Not a usual sight in Toronto, this British taxi with right hand drive certainly got a lot of attention from passers-by. I've never had a ride in one but it sure looked roomy!
I've talked to some of the nicest cab drivers in those great black cabs. Of course, that was in London and it was before I realized that I could walk almost everywhere in London.
Why do I expect James Bond to come running down the street to jump in the taxi and take off on another adventure? Looks like a wonderful vehicle. You really should get a ride in one, if only around the block. And when you get out, greet the people standing around with, "I say, ol' chap, 'tis a bloody beauty of a day!"
Maybe it's for a movie?
ReplyDeleteVery cool find! I would love a ride in that.

ReplyDeleteThat's a nice one! We have one and it's purple.

ReplyDeleteOh you would love a London cab! The specific roar of the engine, the space inside it... Ah but does the cabbie have a Cockney accent? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks real sharp!
