A Vintage Ride
I wandered by this car just as the driver parked it and I yelled across to find out what year it was. It is a 1953 Buick Super and has obviously been chopped and customized. I love it - if I ever win a lottery a car like this would be cool for a summer car!
A beautiful car, RedPat!

ReplyDeleteAh yes, the ideal car for a cross country road trip on the lonely back roads of America.

ReplyDeleteWhen you win the lottery I will beg for a ride. :)
ReplyDeleteI was a junior in high school. Buicks were fantastic cars. In fact, a guy in my class got a job at the local Buick dealership. In 1954, our senior year, he stole a new Buick Roadmaster and drove it to school for almost the whole year (parked it a few blocks away) before they caught him. I think he did time. What a character! This is one fine automobile.
ReplyDeleteLooks well taken care of.
ReplyDeleteOh ya!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not yours? You would look great in that car! With your raccoon coat.
ReplyDeleteGood choice RedPat!
ReplyDeleteBut I think you would choose a red one, right? ;-)
