There recently was a vintage bike show at Trinity Bellwoods Park on Queen St W and there were a lot of cool bikes on display. I particularly liked the lines and the colour of this one!
That looks similar to bikes of my time, but I wouldn't have ridden this...I had one with shock absorber, high handle bars, fenders off, seat low...it was great!
Super! I hope you took some pictures of the other bikes as we'd like to see them too. Old bicycles are the greatest to look at for they evoke so many memories of wonderful times.
Love to see these old bikes restored.
ReplyDeleteYou are taking me back to my childhood, RedPat!

ReplyDeleteYup I would have zoomed in one that one too Pat :) what a lovely summery image you've captured here.
ReplyDeleteThat brings back memories. My dad had a bike that looked similar to this one.

It looks like Pee-wee Herman's bike.
ReplyDeleteVery streamlined!
ReplyDeleteI like the color, if nothing else! :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my childhood. I had a seat in that color and pattern like in the photo. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteThis has a familiar look, but the curved struts on the front are different.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly evokes the past.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool!
