Lilies With A Castle
It's been a while since I showed a pic of Casa Loma and I though it looked quite lovely with the lilies growing in front of its stone wall. Casa Loma is one of the top tourist attractions in Toronto but I have never been inside it - I will have to venture in one day!
So near and yet so far. :-)
ReplyDeleteBrings back old times; we lived right around the corner one year, on Castleview. Walked past it every day.
ReplyDeleteIs it in the 'valley' too? Nice scenic.
ReplyDeletethe lilies help soften the castle a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is worth a peek inside! Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed all of your photos of this place and this shot is especially nice...the colors all mesh very well. Yes, I think you ought to give us a tour of the interior - when you get a chance... :)
ReplyDeleteah, so nice and picturesque!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, RedPat!
I have never been inside either, RedPat! It's on y to-do list. :)

ReplyDeleteI heard of the place. Friends say it is very nice inside. Nice image.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Never been inside it? You have shown Casa Loma often. I thought you lived there.
ReplyDeleteLovely sight.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a comic face in that tower. Not sure it was intended. Interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it! You know everything and every place in Toronto! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAs a local, I am ashamed to say I have one been there twice in my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteIt's a magical looking place!
ReplyDeleteWe'll go to Casa Lomo together when I come over Pat :) looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh I love Casa Loma and I have been inside once you must go it will blow your mind it is incredible. B
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteI finally visited before I left. It's definitely worth it, but go in the off season. And take the guided tour if they offer it. :)
ReplyDeleteOh you HAVE to go in! I've been inside 4 times!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed shot!
ReplyDeletePreciosa. You'll have to come in and teach it :)))
