Trees

It was a hot day as I passed by the park where these trees live and their shade was very welcoming indeed. I don't know what species they are but I love their heavily textured bark. The City of Toronto is in constant tree-planting mode as an effort is being made to greatly increase the tree canopy which is already quite extensive.

  10. I think it's great that Toronto plants so many trees. Trees produce oxygen through photosynthesis, the antithesis of releasing carbon into the atmosphere. :))
