Grand Ladies In The Snow
When I was walking to see yesterday's fence I passed this row of grand old Victorian homes and thought they looked quite nice in the snow and it is hard to get a good view of them when the trees have their leaves. I like that the owners have coordinated the colour scheme of the three row houses in the middle.
Wonderful homes, great color!
ReplyDeleteThe red brickwork really stands out, especially against all that snow!
ReplyDeleteThese do look great in the snow and without leaves. Maybe the houses belong to the same person and he/she rents them out.
ReplyDeleteGRAND is an apt word for these ladies.

I was thinking exactly what Birdman said. Grand is the perfect description for them.
ReplyDeleteThey are stately fine examples, of beauty even in this wintry scene!
ReplyDeleteVery nice architecture! I like how the builders of many older buildings and homes went to so much trouble to make them look beautiful!
ReplyDeletelovely house which looks better in Spring surrounded by flowers not snow
ReplyDeleteThose homes look wonderful in the snow! Well, I'm sure they'd look wonderful and stately in every season, but that color contrasts and brightens things up so beautifully! Love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful architecture, and the coating of snow and icicles makes an enchanted scene.
