Laneway Revisited
I first posted this laneway house back in 2010 (click HERE) and went by recently to see how it is doing. It looks great, the trees have grown, and it looks as if they have added a roof-top deck which must have super views of downtown. I'll be posting a few more shots of things I found along this lane, which is called Croft St, sprinkled about in the next week's posts.
Still rather cold there I see.
ReplyDeleteIt is very modern. I would love to see that view from the deck!
ReplyDeletevery cool design.
ReplyDeleteQuite a contrast with yesterday's homes...
ReplyDeleteNice design, hope it warms up!
ReplyDeleteA very different design.
ReplyDeleteI do like the look of this place and if you can see the downtown skyline from the deck that would be great.
ReplyDeleteThe Box House. It is a rare sight. Here a link for you about Croft Street. http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/07/13/back-alley-adventures-croft-street-has-a-dynamite-history/
ReplyDeleteLots of glass in this "modern" architecture. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteBRRR so cold in Europe is Spring..
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised. I like it.
ReplyDeleteRemember, I don't do windows. Ha.
ReplyDeleteLike this one a lot!
ReplyDeleteI remember this house and while I like it, I prefer yesterday's "ladies". ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think the architect has done a good job. Probably quite smart inside, and the roof garden is a nice bonus:)
ReplyDeleteThe birch seems to be doing quite well, must be getting enough sun. I imagine they have to shovel the roof after a snowstorm.
ReplyDeleteThe roof top extension is a great addition!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of period architecture, but this modern house is outstanding. Tom The Backroads Traveller
