Early Evening On Queen St West

One of the things that makes Queen St West special is the variety of old buildings that survive there, and also the variety of uses they have. The three Victorian beauties on the right are a good example of that with their wonderful mansard and the decorated dormers including metal work. These three were built in 1884 while their neighbours to the left were built in 1874 in Second Empire style. I have to admit that at one time I was such a regular at the Epicure Cafe that they started pouring my order as soon as I came in the door. I still love it there!

  18. That does look like an inviting coffee house. If they roast their own coffee I might be a regular there also if it weren't so far away.
