Reading Nook
I showed the outside of the bay window from the library at Knox College at U of Toronto a few weeks ago (HERE) and I made a point of going there during the Doors Open event to get a pic of the interior when nobody would be disturbed. So here it is with original chairs that along with the rest of the furniture in the library have been there since 1915. I'm not sure how comfy they would be but what a great place to sit and read for a bit!
Yes, the chairs look a bit stiff, but what a great nook. I'd probably open a book to read and fall promptly asleep!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful space.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't care how comfortable the chairs were Pat, it would be such a thrill to sit on a chair so o!d and imagine all the bods that had sat there before me over all those years and then there's the bay window itself... too die for :)
