This shop on the left showing Weird Things has been in the location on Bathurst St for a couple of years and they do have weird things - some antiques, some 'antiques' they make, and some folk art pieces. The Normal Things sign on the derelict building next door just appeared in the last couple of weeks - I love it! The buildings are in a developer limbo since someone wants to tear them down and build a structure that isn't allowed in the zoning bylaws.

This is a great photo. Love those signs.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the signs be switched?
ReplyDeleteHysterical!
ReplyDeleteNormal things... cool !
ReplyDeleteI wonder which things they are...?
just darn cute!
ReplyDeleteWonderful signs. Someone has a great sense of humor, and I'm glad you found these.

ReplyDeleteWell caught, you made me laugh! I obviously vote for weird things...
ReplyDeleteQuite a contrast!
ReplyDeleteNow this is cool! Bravo on behalf of the normal sign person!
ReplyDeleteHmm. Which door should I choose . . . :-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
ReplyDeleteGreat take and unusual sign name.
ReplyDeleteInstead of looking after old things and maintaining the beauty of what already exists, it is indeed normal to tear down and erect bigger things.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing out loud for reals! Hilarious retaliation from the "normal things" building. :)
ReplyDeleteLol!!
ReplyDeleteDuh, restore them, they're wonderful!
Weird and normal. Just like life. :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's cool. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeletetheir sign Weird Things would certainly entice me to walk into their store. I normally hate to see older buildings torn down, but the boarded-up building looks like it's on its last legs.
ReplyDeleteLove the sense of humor of people there.
ReplyDeleteMy SIGNS, SIGNS
Ha! That's great!

ReplyDeleteThat is funny, but the structures are really struggling. It will be interesting to see what happens to them.
