I spotted this cute sign in the service entrance of a restaurant as I wandered down a laneway! It gets the message across in a friendly way, don't you think? Taking part in Signs, Signs. Click HERE to see more signs from around the world.
Here in San Francisco the city has tested a new paint that deters such activity which is prevalent in the city. Evidently the paint cause a back-splash to the extent it gets the perpetrator's shoes and pants leg wet. It seems to work too and saves the city money in steam cleaning walls which in the long run is more costly than the one time application of the paint.
Jack - the sign is out back in the laneway where all the garbage bins are. This restaurant is actually quite diligent about keeping this area tidy and neat - hence they care enough to put a sign.
Around here I've seen this same image peeing on the word Ford, or Chevy depending on the loyalties of the vehicle owner. Glad the restaurant owners care to keep their alley clean.
I remember working late one night, going back to the office (through the back door), and switching on the lights only to see a filthy (insert offensive word here) peeing through the letter box in our front, glass door! There are some dreadful people out there in the world!
As discreet as this type of thing can be I suppose!
