Oasis On Yonge Street

This fence and gate protects a lovely courtyard that belongs to a private residence on Yonge St in the Rosedale neighbourhood, probably the most expensive area in the city. Yonge is Toronto's main street and most of the it is occupied by commercial buildings and this building itself had housed stores and some apartments before being totally restored and a large part of it turned into a luxury dwelling. I'd love to see the inside!

  4. It's beautiful, such a fine crafted gate too. It reminds me of so many places just like that in Savannah, Georgia! I just loved walking around and peeking through the gates and seeing hidden garden terraces behind so many.

  15. Now we're talking multi-millions of dollars, right? What a fantastic place. Ring them up and tell them I said they should let you walk through and take some photos.
