I spotted this mural on a garage door in a laneway just off Dundas St W and at first though it was an official sign. But no, it is a mural by the artist Random, aka Spencer Harrington, who has done many murals around town. I like the childish hand and the coloured crayons. Not sure what is supposed to mean though.

kinda fun. kinda odd. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...danger due to random crayon coloring? It certainly makes a statement.
ReplyDeleteSo realistic!
ReplyDeleteIt is meant to make fun of our political types who cry "Danger, danger" to rile up the common folks and gain their votes. Kind of like "crying wolf." And you can write in, with the big crayon, whatever "danger" you can dream up.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's my take on it!
:)
It fooled me. I thought it was sign. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ReplyDeleteUnusual, original, and creative!
ReplyDeleteI thought at first it looked like a poster, but as a mural it is original!
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice of font for the word "Danger".
ReplyDeleteA bit baffling.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the meaning either, but the colors are nice!
ReplyDeletelovely
ReplyDeleteThis is very good, it's almost 3D with that hand...
ReplyDeleteThe lettering for Danger and the colour scheme remind me of the Coke label.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite impressive. Very realistic almost 3-D image. I thought it was a sign too.
ReplyDeleteHa! I DIG that!

An odd sign.
ReplyDeleteIt does make you stop to have a closer look. Interesting!
ReplyDeleteI really like this one and I noticed those crayons right off the bat. Guess it is the school teacher in me. If I picked up one crayon yesterday while subbing in kindergarten, I picked up 20. I agree that the hand is childlike, too.
ReplyDeleteDanger of mysterious crayon markings possibly, which I find totally fun to spot.
