Inuksuk At Sunnybrook

This stone assemblage is an Inuksuk which is a human-made landmark used by the Inuit to mark trails etc in the Arctic. These ones that have a rather human resemblance have become quite a common Canadian symbol and can be found all over the country. This one is outside the Vets Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Our snow is all gone now.

  2. I adore Inukshuk. I only have a Québec bought key ring though! :-)
No snow mid-March: isn't that a bit scary?

  3. It's intriguing. And I can see the "human" aspect to it. Nice part of Canadian identity.
