School

I showed you a pic of this clock tower back in the winter (HERE) and finally stopped one day when heading north on Avenue Road  to get this shot of the view while driving. The school has been here a long time and so the very busy road actually takes a big swing around the school property before continuing on its route! This is Upper Canada College, probably the most exclusive private school for boys in the country. The fence on the right protects the tennis courts.

  7. It is beautiful. Won't take long for the trees to leaf out and start obscuring some of that.

  8. With that tower and building, it looks like a most serious school. Hope the students get the best education.

  10. We do not have schools that look like this in Texas. If we do, I have not seen them.

  11. And there sure is a LOT of maintenance required on these old buildings to keep them standing.

  19. Sometimes I am struck by the similarity of the architecture in Toronto and Connecticut. This would fit in very nicely in New England.
