When you have a 1960s bank building and you gut it, add rusty metal sheets to the wall, steel tables, and comfy banquettes you can end up with a great place for a few beers and something to eat. And since this is Canada, always have a hockey game going on the TV in the background!

I like it, give the place character
ReplyDeletesometimes these re-purposing jobs turn out really great. I had lunch with a friend in Mesa a few months ago at a re-purposed bank building. In fact, the friend worked in that building when it was a bank many years ago. I thought they did a great job on it.
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting conversion!
ReplyDeleteLike the look of that!

ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a cool place. Over here it would be a football game on the screen.
ReplyDeleteI like the looks of the sign. Seems like a great place to meet friends after work to socialize.
ReplyDeleteI like the metal sheets on the wall. That is creative thinking.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. I would definitely make frequent visits just for the atmosphere. What a great idea for repurposing a structure.
ReplyDeleteInteresting place, Pat :)
ReplyDeleteAlso here in Italy we have in many places a TV in the background, not with hockey, but with soccer...
Looks like a spot that I would enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThey did a remarkable job! What a fun spot to dine in!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great looking place, RedPat. I'll bet it is a popular place. How come the legendary Toronto Maple Leafs have become awful?
ReplyDeleteAn interesting place to relax with a coffee. I really like those lights hanging down. There can be no doubt where the Service Department is
