Deco Beauty
This wonderful Art Deco building was built downtown on York St in 1929 and was designed by architects Kaplan & Sprachman who were known for designing more than 80% of the cinemas in Canada during that era. It was originally known as the York Mercantile Building but is now called Prudential House. The whole building has beautiful deco details in its stonework.
Early deco, I suppose. It is quite ornate and very nice.
