Tennis Anyone?

I'm standing on the left bank of the Humber River just north of Lake Ontario looking across to the tennis courts on the east bank of the river. It would be a nice place to be playing tennis even in the heat we have been having lately!

  1. The area is filled with lush vegetation. It's been quite a while since I've enjoyed a game of tennis.

  3. Is the Humber swimmable these days? - you could always have a dip following a game,

  6. It's so hot here I hate to go outside at all. Playing tennis would be impossible. I do play golf on Sundays, though, but we start early so we finish before the worst of it. Beautiful photo of a beautiful spot. If I did play tennis, I'd love to play here... in the summer. :)

  8. Tennis is played in the summer when it is often really hot. Years ago I had a friend who described the people who played tennis as "fools" who run around on the court in all that heat. I haven't played tennis since I was a kid. Perhaps I've gotten smarter in my old age? Like your flush photo.

  9. I played it once or twice as a kid, but that's pretty much it.

  10. Few places where I've felt more uncomfortable than on a tennis court in summertime.

  13. It does look good Pat, but I heard 'game, set and match' too many times, and not in my favour 😃😃
