The young woman in this pic was actually planting up those two large boxes and not trying to jump the fence into the patio of "Her Father's Bar & Kitchen", a restaurant on Harbord St. The abstract mural looks so summery with all the hot colors. The artist for this one is John Kuna who had done all the historical murals along Dundas St in the Islington neighbourhood. If you click on my Islington label you can see them all.

ReplyDeleteI've seen this and have plans to go to Her Father's Kitchen to see their large selection of ciders!
ReplyDeleteDarn! Just checked and they are closed on Mondays!
The mural brightens the neighbourhood up.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very cheerful.
ReplyDeleteHave added it to my list of patios to visit.
I rather like that mural. I don't have to wrack my brain trying to determine what it all means but can just allow the wonderful colors to wash over me...Love the name of the place also. I wonder if the young woman is the "Her" of the "Her Father's Bar & Kitchen"?
ReplyDeleteI do love that mural. It would fit in perfectly here in the desert southwest.

ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, I love all the vivid colours..
ReplyDeleteThat's a good way to give patio diners a bit of privacy while still being outdoors.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it is her "father's".
ReplyDeleteThat is a great mural.
ReplyDeleteThis is colorful. A fun place.
ReplyDelete(I suspect the Pulaski statue is there because of many Poles in greater Hartford.)
