These two houses in the Yorkville neighbourhood are connected by that opening in the middle that leads to both their back gardens. I always wonder which house gets the nice room over the opening!
Now that is a good question. It is a rather strange way to build a house but if I recall correctly, I saw something similar to this not far from where I live.
An interesting arrangement.
ReplyDeleteHello, looks like a nice place. I like the window on the room over the opening. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI hope the owners get along with each other.
ReplyDeleteWould it be 2 rooms, one facing the back?

ReplyDeleteMaybe they flipped a coin? Or maybe the one with the room up above cost twice as much as the other? It's intriguing for sure.
ReplyDeleteinteresting! i'd not like to 'share' space, myself. guess it's good i live in the country...in texas, too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a little fairytale window!
ReplyDeleteI've seen something similar here.
ReplyDeleteThat's the big question. Maybe they switch every six months :)
ReplyDeleteAn oriel! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've not seen this arrangement before. It looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteYes my eye is drawn to that cool castle window sticking out!
ReplyDeleteYes that looks like an interesting room, lovely window...
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty. I expect you to knock on the door to ask the owners who gets the room in the middle.
