Symmetry
I'm back in the Lawrence Park neighbourhood for this one and this is a typical Georgian house that you can find in the area. Lawrence Park is one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Canada and it was begun to be developed in the early 1900s with most of the homes constructed between 1910 and 1950. It is a lovely area of rolling hills, ravines, and parks with a mixture of Tudor, Georgian, and English Cottage homes mixed in. And as you can see there is a little more land around the homes than in the older neighbourhoods like the Annex.
Lovely symmetrical house indeed.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this house is perfectly balanced. What a beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou got it right with the title. It's a gorgeous house. I'd say a couple of psychiatrists live there as they're supposed to be working to help people get their lives in balance. On the other hand, most of the psychiatrists I know need the help of a psychiatrist! Heh, heh! 😎
ReplyDeletegreat house
ReplyDeleteA well balanced house, very attractive!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's not perfectly symmetrical. One chimney.
ReplyDeleteTrust RR to spot that ☺☺ it's a beautiful home Pat. I guess every city has their exclusive areas.. here it's Peppermint Grove and Dalkeith.. oh how the other half live ☺
ReplyDeleteThis house would fit perfectly into my Connecticut neighborhood. Most of the houses like this one were built circa 1925.
