Osgoode Side View
This is a side view of yesterday's Osgoode Hall and it gives you an idea of the various additions that have occurred over the years. I just like to see the clock tower from Old City Hall peeking over the top surrounded by the newer buildings along Queen St W.
You live in such a charming, and beautiful place, rich in history too!
ReplyDeleteYes its nice to see the clock tower and I like those arched windows.
ReplyDeleteCities always seem to be adding more high-rise buildings. Land is too valuable not to go up, but there are obvious costs such as blocking out more traditional buildings and eliminating sunlight.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great view of the place.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it just kept growing until it ran out of room. Love the clock tower peeking over.
ReplyDeletepatina of a great city
ReplyDeleteI like that the clock tower can still be seen Pat, would have been tragic if it had been swallowed up entirely 😊
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful building and it incidentally reminds me of the Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri.
ReplyDeleteGreat find, Pat!
Have a Happy Day!!
Peace :)
Surrounded by a lot of taller buildings but fits in rather nicely. Glad the clock tower can still be seen, I love clock towers.
ReplyDeleteThe old and the new, coexisting.
ReplyDeleteThere just in case your smartphone's battery went dead. :-)
ReplyDeleteIts clear that not the old times but the new times reach to the sky.
ReplyDeletePreciosa foto Pat . Me gusta mucho!!!
