Little Barn Library

I was wandering through the High Park neighbourhood and spotted this unusual Little Library so headed over for a pic. It's nicely done don't you think? And it has lots of space for books.

  7. The little library movement is sweeping North America. Have friends who maintain these. This is a fine looking one.

  10. This is one of the nicest I've seen. I especially like that you can see inside somewhat and get an idea of what is available.

  11. Our daughter lives in Oregon and these little libraries are popping up all over . . . such a wonderful community project. We have been thinking about building one here :)

  12. Yes, it is another unique "Little Library." The concept was begun by a man who wanted to honour his mother with one as a memorial. Started in Hudson, Wi just down the road from the Minnesota border, the concept really took off, and it now has spread to many countries of the world. Isn't it wonderful when something like this occurs and spreads?
