Every time I pass by this house I think how pretty it looks and the snow last week really made the yellow stand out. Such an unusual colour to paint your brick house but it works well!
It were in origin the colors of the Habsburgers and whole parts of Austria , North Italy, and Hungary have those colors on their houses and buildings. Perhaps have the owners of the house some relations with Austria.
I like it too. Cheerful for winter!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even tell it was made by bricks.
ReplyDeleteI have always found it odd that any brick house gets painted, but I do like this color.
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous with the white trim Pat.. painting brick is hard work but it does look fab!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have guessed that was brick. It has a New England look to it. I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteI like to call that colour primrose yellow for spring! It is a lovely home and almost looks as if it were in an English village!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home . . . the yellow looks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was stucco or frame. Nice color - I like yellow, even on houses. Mellow yellow!
ReplyDeleteOne rarely sees this colour on a house!
ReplyDeleteI like the windows, too, and the glass door.
ReplyDeleteA lovely well-maintained house that I would enjoy as my house.
ReplyDeleteThe colour, the windows, make it a standout.
ReplyDeleteNice attractive house and I do like the windows. It like yellow but I don't know if I would paint the bricks at all.
ReplyDeleteI like it much better than the beige one I have now. The one before was mustard yellow and it worked in the desert area we lived in.
ReplyDeleteSuper nice than the bottled drink by the same name :)
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Day, Pat!
Peace :)
Yes, homely in the positive sense

ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty, but it looks like someone shaved off the left side.
ReplyDeleteI really like this, and it reminds me of a Lego house!
