I took this pic this week through the window at the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook looking out towards the gardens and ponds. Those are icicle lights but could be real icicles since it is so cold here!
That is a very pretty but, very frigid scene! I just read an article about a place in New Hampshire where the wind chill got down to 89 below zero last night. I can't even begin to imagine that.
Yes, it is bitter cold there and I hope it warms up soon, but this is one heck of a scene - absolutely gorgeous...the subjects and the colors against all that snow. Zounds!
This is why I'm glad I live in Arizona. We're feeling chilly here, too, even though the high temperatures are running in the 60's. (Fahrenheit, of course.)
looks magical but luckily in Europe we have a rainy and windy winter
ReplyDeleteA lucky winter with rain, I think I will have to disagree with you Gosia, I would prefer a little snow, at least for a week or so. Stay warm Pat.
ReplyDeleteYes, this looks cold. It is a pretty scene and photo.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week!
It sure is COLD... but winter stills mange to show off it's beauty.

ReplyDeleteAfter two weeks of highs in the low teens(f) it's 38(f) right now. But we are expecting freezing rain today.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this scene!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful winter scene, but it does look cold. Yes, the icicles look real, and the fresh snow also helps.
ReplyDeleteso cold the chickens are lining up at KFC for their turn in the deep fryer
ReplyDeleteTalk about cold!
ReplyDeleteTaking the photograph from inside reflects your high intelligence, RedPat.
ReplyDeleteI feel I should put on my coat and gloves when viewing this photo. Very cold looking indeed. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photo. I think I wouldn't mind the cold so much if we could get some snow.

ReplyDeleteOh my, snowy and cold but oh so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteThose ice cycles tell the entire story but they are part of the prettiest spot there!
