All of the snow and cold weather we have been having has brought the birds back to the bird feeders finally. The Goldfinchs in particular were having a good feed this week.

They need to keep those little bodies warm!
ReplyDeleteOh we have the golds too! Sharing them today, Pat. Stay warm
ReplyDeleteHello, cute birds at the feeder. I am missing my Goldfinches. Seeing lots of birds at the feeders is the only good thing about this cold weather.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up your post! Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Takes a lot of seed to sustain those golden coats. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the birds!
ReplyDeleteWe are having a lot of visitors at our feeders, too
Have a wonderful week-end!
with the cold, they are frantic at my feeders!
ReplyDeleteLucky you. Mostly sparrows feed at mine.
ReplyDeleteThey know where the good food is at.
ReplyDeleteThey are cute! But I've never heard a good explanation as to how they keep from freezing in freezing weather. Do you know?
ReplyDeleteOh they are adorable, I wonder though just how much cold they feel?
ReplyDeleteLovely birds. Hope that they can also survive in nature.
ReplyDeleteI think that Finch in front is bringing a little Law and Order to the feeder.
ReplyDeleteCute and comical as they seem to be in a bit of a feeding frenzy in case someone steals their free dinner!
ReplyDeleteSmart wee birds. They got the feeder covered from all sides. :)
ReplyDeleteBeyond Excellent & I Cracked Up Over The Frozen Custard Photo

Oh my gosh it's a full house Pat, aren't they a delight to see! I feel for the outdoor creatures in that incredibly cold weather.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet those birds were appreciative of the food.
ReplyDeleteNice nature shot. I've been complaining about the cold here but I am sure you are much worse.
ReplyDeleteSweet photo, Pat !
ReplyDeleteLoving these sweeties ..memories of Oregon, where goldfinches were frequent winter yardbirds as well... we don’t see them much in the summer now.
