I took this pic just before Christmas and since then we have had a major snowfall but it has also been extremely cold so I haven't been wandering too far outside for the last week.
I've been hearing news reports of the cold wave that has hit the north. It gives me chills every time I hear them say what the "feels like" temperature is.
The storm Eleanor is paying us a visit right now. Lots of flooding down the Galway area, rain and wind up here. Best cancel the picnic here too. Got to have a cuppa so stay warm, Pat.
Bitter cold here in north Mississippi, but no snow
ReplyDeleteBeen following the news about the cold weather you are having. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWhat we need here is some bench warmers.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I think so! I am looking forward to warm summer days and picnics.
ReplyDeleteI wish you and yours all the best in 2018, happy New Year! Have a great day and new week!
Old man winter is really good at his job lately
ReplyDelete...all you need is a broom.

ReplyDeleteA pretty scene, Pat but you're just right to stay indoors when there's been so much snow!
ReplyDeleteha ha right!
ReplyDeleteI've heard the term hypothermageddon used for this cold snap.
ReplyDeleteIt's been cold here too, and it's snowing again today.
But before too long they'll be picnics everyday!
ReplyDeleteIf it was as cold down here as it is up there, I wouldn't get out of bed, much less leave the house!
ReplyDeleteThat's about what it looks like in St. Louis right now.
