I spotted all of these heads at a local garden centre a few weeks ago. I'm not a fan of the sleeping heads in the front but those large heads in the background are wonderful. They were solid concrete and really expensive and really heavy!
The eyes on those background heads look a little creepy to me. Since I don't have a budget in the "really expensive" range I guess my preferences are pretty irrelevant, aren't they?
Agreed re the sleeping heads. The big, strong heads behind remind me of a big sculpture on the grounds of Artis Naples. I photograph it from time to time but don't think it has ever made its way to my blog.
Hello, neat states. The big heads are neat. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteIf you have a big garden, you could make good use of one of these.
ReplyDeleteThe big heads ARE really cool. Nice large garden, one tucked semi-away; would be so cool looking!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine the weight on them.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the head to the left is placed Pat, looks like he has a busy hairdo 😀
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the big heads in the back...very cool!
ReplyDeleteThose three on the bottom remind me that I need a nap!
ReplyDeletePerhaps somebody likes a big face in his/her garden.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about them! I bit sombre for me!
ReplyDeleteVery cool especially the big heads. Does a big head mean a big brain? :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you - I like the large heads, but those sleepy ones are creepy

ReplyDeleteHats off to the artists! These cool head sculptures rock!
