Hello There!
In many parts of Ward's Island you are wandering on very narrow tree lined streets and it is easy to forget that you are so close to downtown Toronto and then you walk out to an open space like this playing field and there it is - the CN Tower peeking across the harbour. I'll show you the 180˚ view tomorrow.
Well, with the big city so close, parks like this are a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you composed this shot!
ReplyDelete...looks like you are a hop, skip and a jump away.
ReplyDeleteWhat a view! I love seeing a skyline of buildings in the distance.
ReplyDeleteGreat view! I remember that on clear, low humidity days, it was possible to see the Tower from spots near my home growing up.
ReplyDeletegreat photo
ReplyDeleteA nicely framed view, Pat.
ReplyDeleteNice picture, Pat.
ReplyDeleteThe CN Tower does dominate the landscape around Toronto.
ReplyDeleteThe island looks green and lush! Guess you cannot get away from the big city, eve on the island!
ReplyDeletePretty view of the park and tower! Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteUma bela fotografia, gostei do enquadramento.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Super composition Pat, I bet the tower pops up in many an unexpected spot!
ReplyDeleteYep, so close and yet so far! That tower stands out well!
ReplyDeleteThat’s quite magical. I think that about big mid-city natural parks, where you can walk on the paths through trees and forget for a little while about the the nearby city streets and bustle. Your island is even better ...worth the extra effort to get there I am sure.
