I took this pic of this garage door at the end of October when we still had leaves and the ivy makes a lovely frame for the mural. This is another mural by Insect Cabaret, the same artists as last week's post. It is hard to tell what species some of the birds are but we don't have Peach-faced Lovebirds in Toronto hanging out with Cardinals!

ReplyDelete...guard cat?
ReplyDeleteNice to see people decorating their garage doors this way. Is response to your question, the bees don't fly around in the winter. They use their energy to huddle and stay warm. However when I open the lid to check on their food supply, they always peek to see who it is.
ReplyDeleteThe kitty looks like he is looking for something to eat. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteI love the way that tree trunk melds right into that greenery framing the door. And, that cat is eye those birds and sizing them up.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet birds. But the cat (despite its also sweet look) doesn't mean well!

ReplyDeleteThis one made me grin big, thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy little birds with a deceptively sweet cat could end up being a bad thing. Delightful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute mural Pat. Love the ivy framing the garage top.
ReplyDeleteThanks for contributing.
