Old And New
This is part of St Paul's Bloor St which is the largest Anglican church in Toronto. This part was built in 1860 but as the congregation grew another larger section was built in 1913 and even another part in 1928. It is all surrounded now by condos and office towers.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI love the old church, it is beautiful. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
Looks a little over powerd where it is
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the church window Pat, bet it looks amazing from the inside. It's holding it's place there amongst the future 😉
ReplyDeleteIt's sort of wedged in there between all that steel and glass but, it still has its own charm.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful church! The contrast between it and the more modern buildings is stunning
ReplyDeleteWith all those tall building around it is beginning to look out of place.
ReplyDeleteQuite distinctive.
ReplyDeleteI like how it's surrounded by those modern buildings, it adds to its beauty.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a little oasis of old and traditional amidst all those towering buildings.
ReplyDeleteUm belo enquadramento, aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.

Quite a fascinating "living life in the moment" capture!
ReplyDeleteGran edificación. Ahà sigue recordando el pasado.
ReplyDeleteBesos.
It is a beautiful church. Toronto seems to present many nice examples of the new juxtaposed against the old. Or vice versa.
