View From The Southwest
This is the view of Casa Loma from the southwest and a block further south than yesterday's pic. The construction site in front is for some very high-end condos that are being built right beside railway tracks and behind that you see the buildings of George Brown College, a community college. Soon the Casa won't be visible from here except by those who have paid $1.3 million & up to live beside the trains.
WoW - So Busy - Yesterday Was Peaceful With Bikes And Such - Today Is Restrictive - Well Done
ReplyDeleteCheers
Living close to the tracks sounds not so nice.
ReplyDeleteWe are on the same wavelength re views being built out Pat as you will see in tomorrow's post. Toronto has as much building going as we do!
ReplyDeleteCondos right next to the train tracks does not sound like a good idea to me. Especially luxury condos. Do you think they will be successful? That is a hefty sum to pay for a view of the castle and noise of the trains.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a busy place, with the construction near the railway! Happy Thursday, enjoy your day! Have a great weekend!
High end condos, built by developers who don't care about the effect of their buildings on the surroundings. Let's just say I have an extremely negative opinion of developers.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit chaotic.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to live there :(
ReplyDeleteSo much construction! Why do people want to live next to the trains...would be very noisy, no?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine paying that kind of money and you live beside the tracks.
ReplyDeleteUrban jumble, The human scene is always changing
ReplyDeleteOh, well...there goes the neighborhood, eh? ;-}
ReplyDeleteVivo al lado de la estación de ferrocarril. Está cerrada desde 1984 y rehabilitada en Vía Verde.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I hope they enjoy their new homes! Trains are nice but not so sure about hearing them day and night.
