"Safe Hands"
In yesterday's post you could just see the very top of this sculpture over in the far left. Titled "Safe Hands", the artist for this one is Ron Arad, a British-Israeli. The 88 ft tall stainless steel structures were originally designed to be kinetic but after realizing the challenges of our winter the decision was made to have them immobile and intertwined. The inclusion of art in new developments is required by city regulations which is a good thing!
...safe hands are the order of the day!

Eye-catching! Safe hands are so in the news right now that the artist seems clairvoyant.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure what I was seeing. At first, it looked like a chute construction workers sometimes use on multistory buildings. But who is to say they aren't artists, too, in their own right. :-)

ReplyDeleteThe name of this piece seems to fit into today's new normal perfectly. I like this. I agree about the inclusion of art. That 's one of the good development regulations.
