Pretty Pink
This small Magnolia tree is always the first one that I see blooming. Again this year it was covered in lovely pink blossoms before the larger trees had even started to open. I'm not sure of its variety but it is a welcome sight each spring. I took this pic a week and a half ago and the others are now flowering.
...they are flowering here too, but our snow yesterday didn't do them any favors.

ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous. And blooming so early.
ReplyDeleteThey always look stunning. It's Magnolia Soulangeana, or Chinese Magnolia.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking it's a tulip magnolia but then I don't know the Magnolia Soulangeana, so I'll defer to Andrew.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's lovely. I have always wanted one of these trees on my lawn. I may just plant one this year.
