These patterns painted on the side of a commercial building remind me of the old TV test patterns or perhaps a kaleidoscope. Either way I quite like them. Taking part in Monday Murals. Click HERE to see more murals from around the world.
Sorry I'm late visiting. I've been fighting keeping my internet going. It went down Monday and my provider sent someone out Tuesday to work on the problem. Now I'm finally back online.
You can't stare at this very long or you start seeing things that aren't there. I DO like how the patterns are formed. That middle panel is especially unique. Very unique indeed.
Really nice Pat, especially the middle panel.. in my favourite colour too đź’™
ReplyDeleteBit influenced by Arabic architecture it seems.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful Pat and I love the colours too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for contributing.
...if you remember TV test patterns, then you are old too!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, I hadn't thought of those old test patterns in ages. It does have a kaleidoscope look to it.
ReplyDeleteOld TV test patterns, yes, but also ceramic tile patterns. Interesting patterns for this mural.
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Yes! Test Pattern! Or Islamic Art updated. Another worthwhile post, P
ReplyDeleteIt does make you think of tv test patterns. I remember when they would come on and that was the end of tv for the day.
ReplyDeleteKinda looks like a kitchen tile, which would make this a great mural for some place like Williams-Sonoma store.
ReplyDeleteLooks like mosaics.
ReplyDeleteI think I like these much better than those old TV test patterns. These are in (nice) colors, for starters.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteTo me they have a Middle Eastern look, like the tiled walls of a mosque perhaps. Whatever they look like, I certainly like them.
ReplyDeleteSomeone likes detail.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who remembers TV test patterns can also remember black and white TV. ;-)
Esa fachada está preciosa amiga!!
ReplyDeleteBuen martes Pat y cuĂdate.
Un abrazo.
I'm glad I had my eyes done! This would have made me dizzy!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see that would make that impression.
ReplyDeleteHmm .. I'm not sure I like that wall. Probably not.
