Vintage Cottages
These are two of the cottages from Draper St which I have been talking about for the last couple of days. These were workers' cottages all built the same and because of the heritage protection very few changes can be made to them which means they can be enjoyed for years ahead. Lovely, aren't they?
...I like the Second Empire influence!

ReplyDeleteSo eloquent of history, place, the present. Appreciated, P
ReplyDeleteThis is a great looking brick duplex from the turn of the 20th Century, but I am surprised you refer to them as a cottage. Cottages make me think of simple, small, one story buildings in a rural setting or near a lake or beach.
ReplyDeleteWow, absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding Shot
ReplyDeleteCheers
Impressive. I´d miss a balcony (if not in the back).
ReplyDeleteLovely indeed.
ReplyDeleteOh they really are special Pat, from the brickwork around doors and windows to the fantastic roof tiles. Beautifully maintained by the look of it 💛
ReplyDeleteMost lovely indeed!
