Friends On A Log

The pond in Wychwood Park is right across the road from yesterday's house but it is surrounded by a lot of bushes which gives it a very wild feeling. While walking around it I spotted these two turtles doing some social distancing while enjoying some sunshine.

  3. It always amazes me that they can scramble up onto logs; they don't look as though they're built for any sort of climbing.

  12. I think if all I had to look forward to was a winter in the mud, I'd catch as many rays as I could too. :-)

  15. I see many turtles, especially in Florida, but my turtles are generally camera shy and duck into the water at the sign of my approach.
