The pond in Wychwood Park is right across the road from yesterday's house but it is surrounded by a lot of bushes which gives it a very wild feeling. While walking around it I spotted these two turtles doing some social distancing while enjoying some sunshine.

Social distancing no... it's a male female squabble. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to see turtles sunning themselves!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
It always amazes me that they can scramble up onto logs; they don't look as though they're built for any sort of climbing.
ReplyDeletePonds and turtles seem to be compatible!
ReplyDeleteI always wonder how they survive the winter.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey are keeping a distance, cute capture of the turtles. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy weekend!
Those are very smart turtles!
ReplyDeleteThey are catching some fall sunshine before the big sleep of winter sets in. A quiet scene.
ReplyDeleteI love those turtles! Amazing photo! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes!
ReplyDeleteI think they are married and mad at each other! hahaha! How cute! We love turtles.
ReplyDeleteTurtles enjoying the sunbeams, nice capture, Pat.
ReplyDeleteLooks like two fighters squaring up before the bell.
ReplyDeleteI think if all I had to look forward to was a winter in the mud, I'd catch as many rays as I could too. :-)
ReplyDelete...I haven't seen a turtle this year, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey do like sunning themselves.
ReplyDeleteGood to see the turtles behaving responsibly Pat 😉
ReplyDeleteI see many turtles, especially in Florida, but my turtles are generally camera shy and duck into the water at the sign of my approach.
