These houses are also found on the old Honest Ed's Site and are to be restored and reopened as small boutiques, etc, similar to what they were before this project began. This shot is of the rear of the building and since most of them have had the back wall removed it seems likely that they will be extended. The one on the left was for many years a very popular pub.
Once this pandemic is over I will be there to checkout all of the changes.
ReplyDeleteA los negocios hay que darles nueva vida.
ReplyDeleteBuen domingo Pat. CuĂdate.
Un abrazo.
So many changes Pat, the pandemic isn't holding back construction is it.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a big project. Hopefully everyone will be allowed to visit them once everything is finished.
ReplyDelete"Similar to what they were before" only with a much higher rent! That seems to be the standard these days!
ReplyDeleteAh old pubs are full of spirits! Some happy, some not.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting looking forward to seeing the updates too!
ReplyDeleteI can see much work is left to be done on these houses, but good to know they will be restored.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big project but it will look great when it's done. Our construction projects are on hold till March when some of the restrictions could be lifted.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't that former pub be reimagined as a watering hole again?
ReplyDeleteThey look strange like that.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they found any treasures in the renos!
