I spotted my first turtle of the season last week as he sat upon a log in the pond in the Wychwood Park neighbourhood. It had been a bit sunny but it wasn't really warm so I was surprised to see him out.

ReplyDeleteA very nice sign of Spring.
ReplyDelete...there a neat spot near here where I'd see turtles sunny themselves on a log. Perhaps they were evicted, I don't see them anymore.
ReplyDeleteHe's bringing spring with his arrival.
ReplyDeleteWhat curious creatures they are! Spring surely can't be far away now, though it seems very reluctant to really warm up here.

Nice one. I'm usually too far away to capture them on camera or they've disappeared into the pool.
