I spotted this red beauty in a mechanic's lot and stopped for a shot immediately. It is a Ford Country Sedan, I think a 1957 but I could be wrong about the year. I love that it even has white wall tires!
I think the name plate on the car counts as a sign so am taking part in Signs 2. Click HERE to see more signs from around the world.
Quite a car!
ReplyDelete...a nice '57, my first car was a '55 Ford two door.
ReplyDeleteWow, that one has been beautifully restored.
ReplyDeleteGet a load of those taillights! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful restoration job. I wonder how many hours of work went into that.
ReplyDeleteAwesome car!
ReplyDeleteit looks very interesting
ReplyDeleteThink you are right about the year, 1957. Station wagons were popular in the post-WW II era because so many returning soldiers were starting families leading to the 1950s "Baby Boom." Ford had some stylish cars back then.
ReplyDeleteThat is best oldie I have seen in a long time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteUhhhhh, what a beauty!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow.
Would you mind taking pics of the inside, if you pass by there again?
