After finding the grounds at Spadina House closed, which I mentioned in yesterday's post, I went back another day and did tour the snowy area. I've always loved this greenhouse which grows a lot of the flowers that are later planted throughout the gardens surrounding the house.
It stands out well in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThat a great design in the english cast iron tradition.
ReplyDeleteIt is a perfect little greenhouse. I wonder how warm it is inside.
ReplyDeleteIf there is a bit of supplemental heat in the greenhouse, this is a perfect time to plant some seeds to get a start on the growing season. Sunshine should keep the greenhouse warm during the day. It is a beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteI like the design of this beautiful greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful greenhouse! I dream of another bigger greenhouse for us.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful greenhouse, a gardener's happy place.
Take care, have a happy weekend!
I bet it's nice cosy in there.
ReplyDeletePrecioso Invernadero. Bien cuidadas están ahí las plantas.
ReplyDeleteBuen fin de semana Pat.
Un abrazo.
Looks familiar!
ReplyDeleteI like the design of that shiny greenhouse!
ReplyDeleteLove the greenhouse!
ReplyDeleteMust visit ours (botanical gardens) when Spring is on the way!
That would be the spot to be this month!
ReplyDeleteIt's an elegant shape. We have snow falling as I write - though I suspect it won't settle for long.
