These Goldfinches were enjoying a bite to eat on a cold winter afternoon. It is always a sign of spring for me when they start to get their yellow feathers back which may be a bit later than usual this year since it has been so cold.

They're very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell done Pat. Feeding the birds over the winter helps them survive.

Ours get dull colors here too and we are starting to see more yellow. Love having a nice finch feeder to watch the birds!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you feeding them?
ReplyDeleteThey are really enjoying the food. I hardly never see one alone.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful?! Mine have tinges of yellow, too!
ReplyDeleteThey all together look pretty!
ReplyDeleteA cute gathering!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of birds on one feeder! I saw a little flock the other day, those bright feathers really give them away.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo of the birds. I have a bird feeder and seldom see more than one or two birds at a time. Love the photo.
ReplyDeleteIt's a feast!
