This gate was spotted at the Sunnyside Bathing Pavillion at Sunnyside Beach. It was built in 1922 as a place for bathers to get changed but these days during the summer it has a cafe and is also a place for weddings and other events. It closes for the winter. I like the gate.
I'm fairly sure I've seen the building passing by.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little chilly for bathing these days. I can see why it would close for the season.
ReplyDeleteIt appears to be a very interesting building. I like that gate too.
ReplyDeletePoignant thank you
ReplyDelete1922 and everything is still in good shape.
ReplyDeleteThe gate is still looking good for its age.
ReplyDeleteNot so sunny up there in the winter, huh? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is quite a fence with so narrowly spaced-out columns.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I´d like to see the inside (next season).
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty gate! Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteIndeed great ironwork.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful gate.
