When I was walking through the U of T campus I couldn't help but notice that there seemed to be large rocks positioned along a lot of the sidewalks. These seem to be a new addition and one wonders if they are for decoration or for security reasons to stop any potential vehicular attacks. It is a strange world these days.
I imagine a bit of both.
ReplyDeleteThese rocks must get in the way of snow removal, but they are visually interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou are probably right about the reason for those rocks. I've seen this done before to keep wayward vehicles from getting too close.
ReplyDeleteWhat William said.
ReplyDeleteWe have some down by the coast to keep cars out.
ReplyDeleteIt is a strange world. Let's refuse to be changed by it. But let's hold wonderful compassion and trust in something larger. However, we perceive that. We are the light bringers. That doesn't mean waving crystals everywhere. It means being a point of light. I love you Pat. Thank you for being my daily friend
ReplyDeleteThey are picturesque.
ReplyDeleteThere should be more rocks on the side of the path. Probably corruption.
ReplyDeleteI agree with William, probably a bit of both.
ReplyDeleteRather nicer than bollards and probably better at pedestrian protection. I like the rocks.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteIn any case, it is a marker you will not easily overlook.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey could be for both, decoration and security! Take care, enjoy your day! Happy weekend!
