"Don't Fence Me In"

The business association for West Queen St West has had these banners installed on poles along the street in their area and since pugs seem to be so popular here it isn't surprising to see one used as the mascot. She is quite cute in her pink outfit!

  1. I had no idea pugs were so famously popular!
That is definitely a different take on the neighbourhood banners.

  2. Very cute!

pS: I was at Don Mills shopping today. They still have tons of Christmas trees and decorations still up, so I don't feel so bad.

  3. I'm confused. I don't understand the "Don't fence me in" statement. It's a cute banner/sign but I thought most people thought it a good thing to keep dogs fenced in so they don't run loose, bite people, poop all over, get run over, etc. :-)

  11. She is cute. But, I'm also confused - maybe it means take your dog out for a walk along Queen?

  16. Cute! I don't understand the confusion - it's obvious to me they want you to leave your normal boundaries and "take a walk on the west side."

  21. What? They couldn't find any squirrels to model for the flag?

  22. That's a lot of signs in such a small space... perhaps the dog should be saying 'Don't sign me in'!
