Doggy Door?

While wandering about on Sunday morning amongst some of the old estates in central Toronto, I spotted this quirky little door in the wall surrounding one of them. What I really liked about it was the fact that there was an upper peep-hole for humans but more importantly a nice big lower peep-hole for a dog to look out and watch the world go by!

  2. You have a good eye! I wonder if there is a doggie in that yard who looks out at passers-by? I can't see a handle on the door so perhaps it's not used as such anymore. I'm curious to know whether or not you peeped through either peephole to see what was behind closed door(s)? :-)

  7. Wonderful, Pat. I love the dog peephole. Our dog has a window seat, so she can watch the world go by, and see who is coming to our house.

  8. Peepholes work both ways - I'd have taken a look into the garden! Love that foilage on the wall.

  9. Dogs need to see the world around them. Nice that someone considered their 4 legged friend.

  10. Hi Pat! Re your comment on Ocala DP: Lois is a vegetarian and that's one of the main reasons we have not patronized Beef O'Brady's! :-)

  11. Perhaps it's a giant dog that lives behind the door? Top peep hole for when he stands on his hind legs, bottom peep hole for when he just wants a quick glance as he walks by?!

  12. If there had been a big, brown eye looking out that hole you might have missed it.
