Snowy Turret

The older parts of Toronto have a lot of semi-detached homes of various styles. The Seaton Village neighbourhood has a lot of these nice ones each with a little turret on the second floor in a style that I've not noticed in other parts of the city. Usually the master bedroom is located at the front of these houses and I assume that these ones must have a nice little seating area there.

  2. Beautiful, RedPat. These would fit nicely in the West End of Hartford.

  8. «Louis» wonders if that architectural detail is unique to older Toronto. He doesn't recall seeing it anywhere else.

  9. Perhaps these houses were designed to look good in the snow - it certainly sets off all the lovely details to advantage.

  10. Matching bedrooms, I gather. Window seats. Always love them. They were meant for good books.

  12. Snow makes everything look fresh and clean.

Sounds like the ice storm was much worse in Toronto than here. Hope you are comfy and warm.
